Jump for Joy!
On the 11th June 2016, 3 members of staff from Acorn to Oaks Financial Services Ltd jumped out of an airplane for local charity The Haven Wolverhampton. They climbed up to 13,000 feet before free falling at a speed of 120mph down to 5,000 feet before floating back down to the ground in a parachute.
The Haven Wolverhampton is a charity local to Acorn to Oaks and Give Insure who offer support and refuge to women and children who suffer from domestic violence. The Haven set up a world record attempt to try to get as many people skydiving in one day to raise money for the charity.
We at Acorn to Oaks Financial Services and Give Insure are extremely proud of our staff and want to say a big thank you to everybody who sponsored them as they took on this challenge.
Altogether the team raised just under £2,000! Well Done Guys!
